ISPS Code Implementation
Bintulu Port is one of the earliest ports in the region to comply and implement the ISPS Code System. BPSB has been approved as port facility that operates within the statement of ISPS Compliance given by the Director of Marine, Peninsular Malaysia dated on 16 June 2009 and valid until 15 June 2014.

ISO
Bintulu Port as awarded the prestigious ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System (QMS) for Provision of Port Services by Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance on 16 June 1998. This achievement has further helped the Company operate with increased effectiveness, consistency and customer satisfaction through continual improvement of its QMS. The Company's relentless commitment to quality, and the stringent adherence to quality standards and QMS earns the respect and confidence of its customers and business partners.
