07 May 2026

BINTULU, 7 May 2026 – Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB) marked another significant milestone in strengthening its governance and integrity framework with the official launch of the Organisational Anti-Corruption Strategy (OACS) during the Bintulu Port Townhall 1/2026 held at the Grand Millennium Ballroom, Parkcity Everly Hotel, Bintulu.

The launch was officiated by Yang Berbahagia Dato Ruslan bin Abdul Ghani, President/Group Chief Executive Officer, and witnessed by over 700 employees comprising members of the Leadership Team, management, and employees attending both physically and virtually across designated venues.

The OACS 2026–2031 serves as a five-year strategic roadmap outlining BPHB Group’s structured approach in preventing, detecting, and responding to corruption risks across the organisation. Developed based on findings from the Corruption Risk Assessment (CRA), the strategy focuses on strengthening governance practices, enhancing accountability, and promoting greater transparency in operational and business processes.

The strategy encompasses four key focus areas namely Operations, Administration and Human Resource, Procurement and Finance, as well as Governance, with a total of 26 sub-strategies identified to address corruption risk areas within the organisation.

During the launch, General Manager, Group Legal Counsel, Puan Dayang Faizah binti Awang Bujang highlighted that integrity is not merely a policy, but a responsibility that must be practised consistently in daily operations and decision-making processes.

As part of the launch ceremony, an OACS video montage was presented, followed by the symbolic handover of the OACS Booklet to the President/Group Chief Executive Officer, signifying the organisation’s commitment towards the implementation of the strategy across the BPHB Group.

The introduction of the OACS reflects BPHB’s continuous efforts in fostering a strong culture of integrity, good governance, and zero tolerance towards corruption in line with national aspirations and best governance practices.
