As the Vice President – Group Corporate Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future direction of Bintulu Port Holdings Bhd (BPHB). You will be responsible for developing and executing strategic initiatives that drive sustainable growth, enhance shareholder value, and position BPHB as a leading port operator.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Leadership: Provide strategic direction and inspire a high-performing team to develop and implement strategies that optimize port operations, enhance efficiency, and drive revenue growth.

•Strategic Visioning: Develop and implement a long-term strategic vision that aligns with BPHB’s core competencies and market opportunities.

•Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including mergers and acquisitions, to drive growth and diversification.

•Market Analysis: Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential risks.

•Risk Management: Oversee the implementation of a robust risk management framework to mitigate potential risks and ensure business continuity.

•Stakeholder Management: Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, regulators, and government agencies, to advance BPHB’s interests.

The position reports to the President/Group Chief Executive Officer.

You will provide strategic guidance and leadership to the following key departments:

4.Investor Relations
5.Enterprise Risk Management

A degree holder with more than 20 years of relevant experience in a senior management role; leading at least a medium-sized business, preferably well versed in the port/logistics/transportation industry.

•Proven track record in corporate strategy, business development, or a related field. Experience in the port and logistics industry would be an added advantage.
