Port Entry & Passes

Bintulu Port is designated under the Protected Areas and Protected Places Act 1959

As such, a body pass is essential for entry into the port area which according to Section 5(1) of the Act, "no person shall be in those premises unless he is in possession of a pass-card or permit issued by such authority or person as may be specified in the order, or has received the permission of an authorized officer on duty at those premises to enter the same"

Port Visitors and Port Users are required to apply for a body pass.

Visitors Body Pass Application

  1. Apply for a visit to Bintulu Port via Visitor Management System (VMS)
  2. Receive notifications via email upon approval by Security
  3. Body Pass collection as Bintulu Port Customer Centric Centre (BPCCC)
  4. Host escort to Port premises

Contractors Body Pass Application

  1. Attend safety briefing
  2. Download & submit Body Pass Application Form at BPCCC
  3. Collect Safety Personnel Passport at BPCCC
  4. Security Approval
  5. Body Pass Payment (online or on BPCCC counter)
  6. Body Pass collection at BPCCC
