EXECUTIVE, ENTERPRISE RISK MANAGEMENT
Job Description

THE JOB:

This role is responsible for implementing, monitoring, and control the enterprise risk of the company. This includes identifying and analyzing areas of potential risk to the organization's assets, earning capacity, or success. The role also involves coordinating various functional activities, advising on risk management issues, and building a risk culture within the organization through appropriate awareness programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Plan, implement, review, monitor, and contribute to the development of enterprise risk management processes and systems.
  • Maintain data quality of enterprise risk management systems and ensure communication of key risks.
  • Coordinate functional activities and advise on risk management issues within the organization.
  • Identify and analyse areas of potential risk and recommend ways to control or reduce risk.
  • Produce reports or presentations on enterprise risks, outlining findings and recommending changes.
  • Develop and implement risk awareness programs to build a risk culture within the organization.
  • Apply risk assessment in strategic/business plan development to achieve company-wide business objectives.
  • Gather and maintain risk-related data from internal and external sources.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, and subordinates.
  • Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and standards.
  • Demonstrate safe work practices in accordance with company procedures.

  • Skills
    • Strong analytical and innovative thinking abilities.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with proficiency in written and spoken English.
    • IT proficiency, particularly in the use of spreadsheets, presentation software, and multimedia.
    • Ability to work with minimal supervision and possess good planning skills.
Additional Details
  • Education: Degree in Enterprise Risk Management or Business Administration or Strategic Planning or equivalent fields.
  • Working Experience: 1 to 3 years of relevant experience with knowledge in port planning and development.
  • Professional Certification in Risk Management is an added advantage.
