SENIOR EXECUTIVE, CORPORATE SECRETARIAL
Job Description

THE JOB:  

As a Senior Executive, Corporate Secretarial, you will support the Senior Manager, Corporate Secretarial in delivering corporate secretarial functions and ensuring full compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements. This role plays a key part in upholding strong corporate governance across BPHB Group of Companies. 

 KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Ensure full compliance with the Companies Act 2016, Bursa Malaysia Listing Requirements, and all relevant statutory and regulatory obligations. 
  • Coordinate and manage all aspects of Board, Committee, and General Meetings – including the preparation of notices, Board memorandums, resolutions, minutes, matters arising, and the distribution of Board packs.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date statutory records, ensuring timely filing of all statutory documents in line with legal requirements. 
  • Attend Board, Committee, General, and Management meetings as required, and follow up on action items and decisions to ensure effective execution and communication across departments.
  • Administer and update the Board meeting application/software to ensure timely availability of meeting materials. 
  • Drive continuous improvement in departmental processes, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and internal governance practices.
  • Uphold the highest standards of confidentiality and integrity, ensuring that all information deliberated at Board and Committee levels is securely protected. 
  • Carry out any other tasks as instructed by the Senior Manager, Corporate Secretarial, in support of the team’s operational and strategic goals.

    •  Strong written and verbal communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia

    •  Able to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines 
    •  High integrity with strong sense of confidentiality 
Additional Details
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in law, accounting, corporate administration, or related field. Being a licensed Company Secretary would be an added advantage. 
  • Working Experience: 3–5 years of relevant experience, preferably within a public-listed or regulated environment. 
  • Sound knowledge of corporate governance principles and secretarial best practices.
