Briefing on CFS had been conducted on 26th May 2011 to all port users including regulatory bodies such as Customs officer. The users also were informed about operational readiness and the occupation permit (OP) that had been approved by BDA to operate the CFS facilities.

BPSB believes that by providing CFS facilities and services could assist logistics industry to increase interest in improving inventory turns and reducing time to market, the role of distribution increasingly focuses on filling orders rapidly and efficiently.
For the year under review, the Group recorded Total Operating Revenue of RM 454.95 million. Non-Operating Revenue of the Group was RM 18.58 million and Total Revenue for the year 2010 was RM 473.53 million.

The Profit Before Taxation was RM 197.81 million and the Profit After Taxation stood at RM 150.34 million The total cargo throughput in 2010 was 40.63 million tonnes. Container volume increased slightly by 1.2% from 248,390 TEUs in 2009 to 251,296 TEUs in 2010. Vessel calls increased by 1.2% in 2010 to 7,601 calls as compared to 7,514 calls in 2009.
