CONTRACT NO. BHB-5/4/2016 THE HANDLING OF PALM KERNEL PRODUCTS AT BINTULU PORT SDN. BHD. |
Bintulu Port Sdn. Bhd. ("BPSB" or "the Company") a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad ("BHB") has issued the Letter of Acceptance Ref: (113)BHB(BPSB)/21.5/33 dated 24 June 2016 to Syarikat Perdagangan Udie Sdn. Bhd., Lot 1772,1st Floor, Block 26, Kemena Land District, Local Centre KII, Jalan Abang Man Off Jalan Tg. Kidurong, 97008 Bintulu for the above contract based inter alia on the following terms and conditions:-
1. SCOPE OF CONTRACT
The Handling of Palm Kernel Products at Bintulu Port Sdn. Bhd.
2. CONTRACT SUM
The Contract Sum is for Ringgit Malaysia: Eleven Million Seven Hundred Seventy Six Thousand Twenty and Sen Fifty (RM11,776,020.50) only (excluding 6% GST).
3. DURATION OF CONTRACT
The duration for this contract shall be as the followings:-

To Design, Construct, Deliver, Test and Commission Four (4) Units of Portable Conveyor Belt System and other equipment. |
Five (5) Months from the date of Notice to Commence Work.

To Commence Service Handling of Palm Kernel Products.

Sixty (60) Months upon delivery of Portable Conveyor Belt System and other equipments. |
4. LIQUIDATED AND ASCERTAINED DAMAGES ("LAD")
The following Liquidated and Ascertained Damages will be imposed for delay in delivery of the Portable Conveyor Belt System and other equipments:-
i. RM2,000.00 per day or part thereof for delay in delivery of Portable Conveyor Belt
ii. RM1,000 per day or part thereof for delay in delivery of the following equipment:-
- Bulldozer
- Forklift
- Backhoe
- Excavator
