SEBAUH: Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB), through Yayasan Bintulu Port, continued its commitment to the Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program by organizing an Iftar Ceremony with the community at the Ar-Rahman Mosque in Sebauh, last night.
This event aims to strengthen ties with the local community and provide support to flood victims who were affected by the floods last January.
As part of the recovery efforts, BPHB donated 10 units of tables and 100 units of plastic chairs to the chairman of the Ar-Rahman Sebauh Mosque, Johari Mahdom, for the daily use of the mosque.
In addition, 60 food baskets were also distributed to the asnaf, B40, and single mothers in preparation for celebrating Hari Raya Aidilfitri.
BPHB Group Chief Executive Officer, Ruslan Abdul Ghani, in his speech emphasized the importance of CSR in strengthening social relationships and improving community well-being.
“Bintulu Port berharap dengan sumbangan ini, ia dapat menceriakan hati para penerima bantuan. Kami berdoa agar usaha murni ini dapat diteruskan dalam membantu komuniti yang memerlukan,” he said.
In addition to breaking the fast, the event was enlivened with a special talk by guest speaker Ustaz Mohd Firdaus Mohamad Seman.
