BINTULU: Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB) continued their corporate social responsibility (CSR) commitment in Kampung Kuala Segan, on Saturday.
A total of 35 recipients made up of people with disabilities, single mothers, and people with disabilities in Kampung Kuala Segan received food basket donations presented by the Head of Corporate Services of Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad Group, Maslihah Tioh.
According to Maslihah, this annual program is more special with the participation of the Le Tour Langkawi team, where they also participate in delivering contributions to the local community through the cavalcade team.
She said this initiative is part of BPHB's ongoing commitment in carrying out its social responsibility to the community around Bintulu.
She added that this CSR program is one of BPHB's steps to ensure close relations with the local community, in addition to supporting their social and economic development.
"Our hope is that this donation can ease the burden of those in need and continue to have a positive impact on the community in Kampung Kuala Segan," she said.
