The Symbolic Flag-off Ceremony for the Merdeka Convoy and Waving of Jalur Gemilang program took place at Wisma Kontena’s Foyer, Bintulu Port. This program was a collaboration between the Malaysian Information Department Sarawak (JaPen) and Bintulu Port. The event featured a march-past and special performances by contingents from Bintulu Port, including the BPHB Auxiliary Police Group, the Emergency and Rescue Department (ESRD), and the Official BPHB Contingent. The symbolic flag-off was officiated by Mr. Ruslan bin Abd Ghani, Group Chief Executive Officer of Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad.
