The Bintulu International Marathon (BIM 2023) took place on 6 August 2023, and was a great success. It was organized by the Bintulu Development Authority (BDA), Wynn Wynn Enterprise (WWE), the Ministry of Tourism, Creative Industry, and Performing Arts Sarawak, and the Bintulu Resident Office, with Bintulu Port Holdings Berhad (BPHB) as a strategic partner. Many BPHB staff participated, including the Group CEO and Leadership Team, who tirelessly worked from midnight on the day of the event, with some members involved in flagging off different categories until morning.
BIM 2023 witnessed an incredible turnout of 3,535 runners from various countries. The success of BIM 2023 highlighted the spirit of unity and athleticism in Bintulu. BPHB is proud to have been part of this event and looks forward to future collaborations to promote health and well-being in the community.
