Marine Charges
The fees are applicable to all vessels utilizing the Samalaju Port wharves or jetties. These charges are determined by the length overall (LOA) of the vessel and its duration of stay at the berth.

Miscellanous

Pilot Cancelation or amendment |
If made than 4 hours before the time requested on the original booking, pilot dues shall be charged at RM480 per occasion. |

Pilot Detention |
When a pilot is detained on board a vessel at Pilot Boarding Point, the charges shall be payable at RM480 per half hour or RM320 for every subsequent half hour. |

When Pilot ordered but not used |
A full charged shall be imposed as if the service had been rendered. |

Night Services |
All services shall incur an additional charge of RM130 for night services. The rate is also applicable for work commencing earlier than 1759 but completing after 1800 hours and also for work commencing earlier than 0600 hours and ending after 0600 hours. |

Double Banking or Ship to Ship Operation |
If a pilot deployed fort the double banking or ship to ship operation within the port limit the charge will be three (3) times the rates for movement within the port limits. |
|
Special movement of vessels |
If a pilot is deployed for special or abnormal movement of a vessel, the rate will be mutually agreed between the Authority or the approved port operator and port users. |
|
General Service for pilotage/marine consultation |
If a pilot deployed for any other general services not within the scope of his ordinary course of business or any marine consultation works for any new projects undertaken by the Authority or any third party, there shall be a charge of two thousand ringgit (RM2000) per day for working hours only or part thereof. |
|
Service rendered on a gazette public holiday |
When pilotage services are rendered on a gazetted public holiday, all the dues payable in the schedule shall be doubled. |
